2 haircuts have made our little toddler a proper boy! A huge part of me wanted to let his hair grow back so he could look teeny again but with school starting shorter is more practical. Now i just find myself wondering how i can have such a handsome school boy. School boy!!!!!
This girl is such a ball of energy, smiles and joy that dispite her boob obsession the constant night feeds, i still feel totally in love with her when she greets me with a huge smile each morning. No rush to talk but nonetheless she manages to express everything she wants even if everything is babas, daddies, aydis or meows! More recently mama, took your time Ambi!

Birthday muffins, lots of treats and sleepy celebrations with our big boy. Hope he felt super special because that boy is our universe!
Today marks Aydins 4th birthday! This beautiful wonderful boy that turned our lives upside down and made us parents and has taught us so much.
I still remember the fear of being induced, the desperation for him to come naturally before having to be induced. Then once the birth was over the awe of having this tiny, little fragile, bundle that was somehow ours, part of us and ours to take care of. I had never seen or held anything this wonderful and was fascinated by how something so tiny could look so perfect.
We went on to learn a lot and continue to do so on a daily basis with his bright, intelligent, articulate boy that he is developing into. He is still fascinating to us and still leaves us in awe like that first day but now it’s with his handsomeness and intelligence.
At four the love of numbers is still very much there, the enthusiasm for reading anything he can see, the love of for his little Amber and for his family as he keeps reminding us we are. And his sudden love of all things birthday related after seeing both mine and Hal’s means for the first time ever he is aware of the occasion and reminding us daily that his birthday is on Saturday. I hope he feels even a tiny smidgen of how much we love him on his day.
I can’t understand how we are already here? It is ridiculous that in 1 month Aydi goes to reception. We have had this wonderful little boy in our lives 4 amazing years and love him so much we are absolutely head over heels in love with him.

The joy of being so hilarious to a 15 month old, look at the smiles from this little one and imagine how hard it was not to squish here each time!

Today is a wonderfully special day as Hal turns 40, I know for him it is a frightening milestone but I just see that handsome 25 year old kid that I fell for. I also see how he has grown emotionally and mentally to become a caring and fun father to our 2. I am so proud of everything we have achieved and how we juggle life together. I am so thankful to share everything with you and appreciate every moment.
I know the last 4 years since parenthood hit our lives it has all been a blur, our time together has been minimal. Our wants and needs have dropped so far down the list we sometimes find that we can’t remember the last time we had a proper chat, but despite all this I think these have been amazing years. You drive me mad regularly but is there anyone else I would rather spend my free time from 8-8:30pm??? No way!! We love you to the moon and back!
