Week 45 (29th June – 5th July)

Week 45 (29th June – 5th July)

Lots of lovely cooling bath time this week as there was a bit of a heat wave going on. We really struggled to sleep a few days luckily Aydin didn’t find it too uncomfortable in his room.

I wasn’t splashing !

Week 44 ( 22nd June – 28th June)

Week 44 ( 22nd June – 28th June)

We met grandma for lunch on Tuesday. Grandma still can’t get over how well you behave when out and about.

Aydin bashed a few berries around instead of eating them, bashing them is so much more fun!

On Wednesday we went to the kids cafe where you didn’t have much fun at all as other kids screams scared you when it was your nap time. Lots of tears. πŸ™

Cutie pie

At great grandmas oh were certainly not convinced you looked anything like my half brother.

Testing out some sun glasses at great grandmas

On Saturday we picnicked with the ampostas which was lovely as it has ages since we saw them. Always fun to catch up.

Our blondie

Sunday bath time I couldn’t resist a picture Aydin looked so handsome.

Week 43 (15th June – 21st June)

Week 43 (15th June – 21st June)

We spent the last week in the village where Aydin thoroughly enjoyed his time with his grandpa and grandma. Though he these two really have a soft spot for each other…

But if playtime in between the cuddles

And Aydin turns 10 months old unbelievable

Last day at the summer house before our drive back to Izmir. Of course with his Dede.

Week 42 (8th June – 14th June)

Week 42 (8th June – 14th June)

Second half of our time at the summerhouse. I think I finally got into the rhythm of things here and feel a bit more relaxed. While entertaining Aydi with a view of the trees and flowers Hal caught these few pictures which have become my favorite pictures so far of us.

Me and Aydi, there aren’t many pictures of us, I think it’s mainly pictures of Aydin alone or Aydin with Halil but this picture and the one below I am totally in love with. They just captured the moment so well.

Little boy you melt my heart daily

Reflecting on the huge wave of change that has poured over our lives since Aydi arrived.

Mr giggles ( trying to get a photo of those top teeth is not easy, this blurry shot was the most we managed)

Seriously how long have we been in Turkey? Aydi seems to have grown up a lot, suddenly his face is less like a baby more like a toddler.

Managed a couple of dips in the sea and I think Aydi enjoyed the experience.

By the end of the week Auntie Sevims family had arrived and we were getting ready to head on our 4 hour road trip to the village (karakoy).

Here’s a few of how most of the time with family is spent. 1st eating, 2nd never letting go of Aydi and 3rd sitting on the swing. πŸ™‚

Week 39 (18th May – 24th May)

This week started with Aydi turning 9 months, it keeps coming round quicker and quicker. He is not crawling just yet but is managing to push himself backwards on his tummy. However, he is making lots of lovely sound which will one day turn into lovely words and conversation.
What!!!!
Messy time
Chubby cheeks
Almost there baby

By the end of the week we were back in hospital with bronchiolitis. Again!!!! This time it was worse than the previous time and we spent the whole day in hospital. They had give oxygen repeatedly through the day and we were sent home with an inhaler to use for the following week.

Week 37 (4th May – 10th May)

Week 37 (4th May – 10th May)

Sorry I was a bit rubbish this week in terms of blogging and photo taking. It was obviously a very quiet week. But here a couple of pictures nonetheless.

Week 35 (20th Apr – 26th Apr)

Week 35 (20th Apr – 26th Apr)

I know if I can convince Aydi to eat any solids on his off days the trick is avocado. If this doesn’t work nothing will. We didn’t get up to much this week as Aydi had a bit of a cough which unfortunately by the Sunday turned into bronchiolitis and we spent the evening in A&E. I am so glad this isn’t a common occurrence.
Avocado! Yes please!

Hats too small but these sunny days are not fun when the suns in your eyes
